Had Galatasaray converted a clear chance in the final minutes, we would be talking about a very different outcome now.
A chain of selfish decisions initiated by Julián Álvarez led to Atlético wasting several clear-cut chances in the first half against Galatasaray. To be clear and direct, Chelsea are not a trustworthy team. In the match against Pafos FC, where everyone expected a comfortable, high-margin win, they produced a performance that frustrated viewers. They neither attempted shots from distance nor tried quick one-twos or incisive through balls through the middle to disrupt the defensive structure.
